The project comprised of the construction of a new 8 bedroom hospice facility. The scheme was a mixture of both commercial and domestic installations due to the nature of the building.
Specialist lighting controls were installed to enable mood changing and scene settings where required along with various other energy saving installations including LED luminaires.
A new modern, state of the art, 3 Level, Community Health Centre located in St Helens, covering an area of 3600m². With a BREEAM rating of ’Very Good,’ for best practice in sustainable design, the Engineering Services sets a benchmark, higher than regulation.

A newly refurbished state-of-the-art, 24-hour Pet Accident and Emergency referral Hospital in Whitefield, Manchester. The clinic also provides a in house CT Scanner, X-Ray Machines and Theatres opened in November 2016.
The Electrical Services installation consisted new Mains Upgrade, Intelligent Lighting Schemes using LED Energy Efficiency Lighting, External Lighting, Cat 6 Cabling System, Addressable Fire Alarm system c/w Roof Void VESDA system, CCTV, Door Access and Intruder Alarm systems, Disabled Toilet Alarms, Lightning Protection and specialist Control Wiring for CT and X-Ray machines.
Completed in June 2010, this is the latest in a series of Community Health Centres successfully carried out in
partnership with Galliford Try Construction.
The centre, located in Huyton boasts a sustainable design including Rain Water Harvesting, Air Source Heat Pumps, Solar Hot Water, Energy Monitoring, Lighting Control and Occupancy Detection.
In addition, the scheme consisted CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Detection all linked to a central monitoring facility.
