Salford Cathedral

Works to this Grade II building have been completed to provide enhanced meeting rooms, assembly facilities, new restaurant and 12no. Residential apartments. Due to the nature of the building, it was extremely difficult to route new electrical services in a neat and concealed manor.

Great care and comprehensive coordination meetings with the mechanical service provider/consultants and design teams were carried out on a regular basis to ensure high quality finish to the finished project.

Services provided (but not limited to) are LV Distribution, Lighting, emergency lighting, small power, voice & data, intruder, IP CCTV, Door access, audio visual & sound systems, Lightning protection & TV.

Elizabeth Gaskell House

Gaskell House, is a Grade II listed property, built between 1835-1841 and is a rare example of the elegant Regency-style villas once popular in Manchester. Now, thanks to a major £2.5m project funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund, the house has been restored and the house is now fully open to the public for the first time. Performance Electrical Ltd was employed to carry out a full refurbishment of the electrical services to a detailed KGA Partnerships drawings and specification. Performance Electrical had to take great care to conceal cabling and services within existing floor voids and take special care working around ornate/traditional ceilings and cornices. Services provided included LV distribution, Lighting, restoration to period luminaires, small power, voice & data, automatic fire alarms, fire alarm aspirating system to period rooms, intruder alarm, CCTV, door access and mechanical controls wiring.

Norton Priory

This prestigious Conservation Project at Norton Priory Museum and Gardens consisted of a refurbishment to existing Museum, New Build Link Building and restoration of existing 12th Century Grade II listed Undercroft.

Electrical Services consisted of LV Upgrade and Relocation, LV Distribution, Small Power, Lighting and Emergency Lighting, Exhibition Lighting, Fire Alarms, CCTV, Intruder, Voice and Data and Lightning Protection.

Ashton Old Baths

This Grade II Listed Building had been left derelict for over 40 years. The Main Contractor H.H. Smith & Sons Co Ltd were employed to carry out internal and external repairs to the building fabric and the transformation of the former Swimming Pool building into a state of the art Business Hub.

The build included a free standing structure in the form of a timber clad pod, comprising three stacked levels of contemporary office accommodation and a roof top break out space. Works have achieved a ‘very good’ BREEAM rating. Services provided included design drawings, LV distribution, Lighting, Small Power, Voice & Data, Automatic Fire Alarms, Intruder Alarm, CCTV, Door Access and Mechanical Controls Wiring.
